[The Holo Magi first draught.]
Act Three Scene Scene Four
Magi-A congenital buffoon, born to
trigger nervous laughter and guffaws
of contempt, who, out of all the books
dumped and washed up on these shores
selected as favourite titles the most
infantile, fantastic, erroneous, defamatory
and archaic. Who, old now, from the very
first sought out the wrinkles of overlong
water immersion - the water on the brain
compounds his condition with deliberate
soaking, who collects and worships in a
cargo cult defunct coins, instead of smelting
them copper wires, switches and solenoids,
bowing on his knees to heaps of copper
pennies which for sheer size and weight
must be rulers of the realm with the largest
queens lording it over the smallest queens,
whom he rates mere princesses and ladies-
in-waiting. Big Queen, little queen, he can't
get enough of them.
