sonnet #1,611

I'll slump across this honeymoon bedspread,
You curled across a white throw hidden couch,
You glumly silent, something I should grouch,
Think, how and why love has now quickly fled?
I might've seen it mapping out ahead,
I did ask round, and swot up, being no slouch,
Expected pain engaged, a muted ouch,
Those quirks of habit waived by newlywed.
I work a wedding ring, merely metal,
You look a pile of atoms trapped by germs,
Ponder past hand presses centripetal,
Assess the warm hugs, quiver woozy squirms.
You mete a metaphysical blue spark,
From ring to ring, yards cold if on the mark.

(Chorus)

o spark
o flare
o twinkle

sonnet #1,610

You were a never was might have so been,
That beyond our homely house the bungalow,
You tickle on a giggle based touch screen
My fancy, yes, skipped round by fingered flow.
You're all to me, the loving gift, the golden mean,
That living work of art kind gods bestow,
If primping, pensive, poker face serene,
If smiling, giving, bolstering, aglow.
I stroke a tress off your eye, sweep in place
Along a temple, straighten stocking line,
Zip up your poplin dress back, pleasure mine,
And straighten up your collar silk one trace.
That's you as you, abiding days gone by,
The touch of touched up photo, eye to eye.

(Chorus)

o by
o past
o rear

sonnet #1,609

I see her, what she does, this snooty bitch,
Aware too well of her own lovely looks-
How she arouses giving sneers and snooks,
They're flirty, cheeky, her teasing twitch.
Her soothing smile assumed does flip the switch,
Wins over me with come here finger crooks,
I'm very past the cuddling curves and nooks,
I love her still, though, only hidden hitch.
I would trap her mine, in my arms treasure,
Her boldness foster once again heartfelt,
Her strange frailties far too fine to measure
Embrace with fiery kisses closely dealt.
With him she steps out perfect, I could sob,
Outstanding, one in million, milling mob.

(chorus)

o sob
o cry
o weep
