Revised sonnet #74
I strut through Sandows body culture gym
Thats me in cheetah print on tightest togs
In cheval mirrors skinny side of slim
I coast through warm up stuff the circuit jogs
A man hoists weights to build up every limb
The cartwheels whizz wide fingers seeming cogs
Im scared of stitch and cramp this interim
Ive made a start on sixteen weeks of slogs
Waxed Whiskers said Id zero skill yet zeal
Anxiety marred the growth of muscle bulk
Hed mentor me I neednt sob or sulk
At massage slap and squeeze I didnt reel
He did a one arm push up dont you know
As mime a boob in cupped hand saw it so
Chorus know grasp realise
