a study toward sonnet #503 by FisherKingKQJ
Should I wake now, or could stay I asleep?
A goddess carnate decked in fiery glows,
She's loving, understanding, prudent, deep,
Regardless of skin tone, sex, station, pose.
Untainted by rage, or hunger, read up close,
Her sentinels are lions without poo-holes;
Female or male, equal in size each grows;
Each purrs prayers for each smile she doles.
Then, one lion at her feet stretches and rolls
For tummy rubs, and bares gums with no teeth-
The ringleader of these large, clawless souls
Who else subsist on ozone that they breathe?
She won't let me be smothered by chance,
Joy is a cure for my sleepwalking trance.
(Chorus)
o $1,000,000 chance
o $1,000,000 luck
o $1,000,000 fortune
