a study toward sonnet #439 by FisherKingKQJ
A gentlemanly samaritan turn,
A gesture not to be read into much,
It came under manners which adjourn
A love affair with clueless such and such.
His languid gaze was as good as a touch
And gently rolled across my collarbone,
It massaged my white knuckles on a clutch,
It smoothed my hips and erogenous zone.
I myself had admired his muscle tone,
No doubt achieved by lifting big gym weights,
The muscle shirt contoured his abs of stone-
I flicked back my tight yellow pigtail plaits.
My Atlas lent me two jumper cables,
Such bad luck a secret crush enables.
My Atlas lent me two jumper cables.
My Atlas lent me two jumper hawsers.
My Atlas lent me two jumper ropes.
