The sculptors studio was the latest stint
As figure model down to private parts
In lingerie there was a heavy hint
Of harlot someone sold on broken hearts
That sort of statue surely worth a mint
Inspires a bidding war in fits and starts
In rivalries of connoisseurs of arts
The winner sometimes likes to finish skint
I froze a dimpled smile and chisel chipped
I flexed a knobbled knee and hammer smacked
I scanned the studio quaint yet well equipped
Its windows webbed and down a ceiling cracked
I matched in mood that statue looked aloof
If cold in need of cloth of warp of woof
