Revised sonnet #467
Youre right to rant I did what was way wrong
I had to satisfy such selfish needs
Yes very few of my inveigling deeds
Are free of favour sought I slink along
Ill squire your drama when your flex is strong
As offered opportunity it reads
That loyalty logged to hugs and kisses leads
Id step in patsy save you from a pong
Theres nothing which I wouldnt gloss or fake
To stay inside your scintillating eyes
Your singsong sayso Venus picked the prize
I wonder what else would work wide awake
I kept your place in cinematic queue
A smidgeon rude your whim you rarely rue
Chorus queue file line
