Sonnet #41 by FisherKingKQJ
When pure love is as pure as flat gold leaf
Fierce heat maintains its mild yellow colour,
Adjusts, complies and yet still keeps chief;
When love is gold alloyed with silver ore
Fierce heat quick whitens clammed up memory...
Expands signs of a heart still scared and sore;
When love is tin it chums gold with sorry -
Fierce heat hard roughens to end apprise...
Love lashes someone who it might box in;
When love is gold pinches with lead allies
Fierce heat smokes all down to folded toxin,
Love cannot see past its own self and dies.
To all her troubles is my love annealed:
Gold dusted in hot mead, so she is healed.
{3D interactive chorus:}
