Our bows to zazen under banyan boughs
Agility poise stamina and speed
Our karateka starts on nods and vows
A move of hers makes me move in heed
I parry kick I mustnt let emotion rouse
Ibuki carries her to sparring lead
I parry punch assured in kikken nous
I swing a foot as forceful feinted deed
I witness later her aware of role
Our evil genie put inside its jar
Acknowledge what we were to what we are
Our selves escape unscathed thats safe and whole
Immortal souls around the corner read
Its better bruises healed than very dead
