Revised sonnet #133
I wore a lemon coloured frock at first
Id piled up high my red and curly hair
His famous flings had proven flagrant dare
As ladies man in ways he wasnt worst
His patter much impressed as minted air
He was a whizz at dance his lips half pursed
He reckoned we were willed on pretty pair
He was in compliments of value versed
His wife estranged I reckoned part time whore
He didnt know I knew her passing well
His pick up line a cliche truth to tell
A female friend informed of many more
I coaxed the calibration bar to low
I joined him jubilant in shallow show
Chorus low laag lav
