Initial kisses claimed in reticence
Erupted kisses brazenly unbound
The paddler plonked us forth in diligence
In waves of waterways in swishing sound
Three paddlers kept a fatso rear of fence
If he should board as ballast many drowned
That gondolas swift seesaw guessed immense
Ours dodged the dock to wider waters wound
Our paddler crisscrossed busy Grand Canal
There thread the arch of covered brown brick bridge
The doves and pigeons flocked on fluted ridge
The blue sky void of clouds bored bit banal
A little later lunch the local dish
Spaghetti isles in ink of cuttlefish
