Revised sonnet #1391
Adolescent we were when we wed young
Sexual frisson fostered far too early
Breasts and bollocks slung suspiciously swung
Longer arms and legs in hurlyburly
Fully furnished flat afforded lowest rung
Kitchen floor tiles crumbled chipped and curly
Landlord flat inspections struck us surly
Parent snoops sold us dreams fine flats far flung
God of worth would wisely grant us money
What use is thrift if one wavers senile?
Never mind Ill beg off tokens tactile
Life is great and youre too frank and funny
Flawed folk fail reboot reborn they but range
Sick societies gradually conclude change
Chorus range sweep wander
