Revised sonnet #1444
I said babe byebye but he sweetly smiled
Byebye back board at platform Sylvia Park
Electric fences storm soaked spluttered spark
Id see him soon I sussed he mosied mild
He was a gentleman thus seldom riled
His earnest eyes indented deep and dark
He pitched his pyramid as if a lark
I was impressed I did invest it dialed
Mum was annoyed she sensed a gaudy grift
A bus took us to downtown Britomart
He saw us quit the queue at coffee cart
The escalator slow he strode steps swift
The train track click clack soothes away the pain
Mum sore a scene mine sticky set again
Chorus pain ache hurt
