a study toward sonnet #662 by FisherKingKQJ
I'm fearful that neither vicious gossip,
Nor intimate search of a behaviour
Reveals your true self; and if I so flip
That coin I find no generic saviour.
I can define a crook on the paviour,
Professed ugly tattoos on cheeks and skin,
But puzzle most rest misbehaviour,
Tell nothing by your friendly wave or grin.
Your nose twitch and quiver of your chin,
The focused white spark in your pupils
Could hide all manner and myriad of sin,
Yet they play out as self confessed scruples.
My heart beats for you a fervent tattoo,
Voicing small doubts can instil a taboo.
(Chorus)
My heart beats for you a fervent tattoo. SPADES
My heart beats for you a fervent cadence. CLUBS
My heart beats for you a fervent rhythm. DIAMONDS
