Revised sonnet #199
I felt his steady drunken gaze of glaze
I guessed that mine as weird in weaker light
A softer sentiment it meant to raise
Id drunk two beers as done in mating rite
Two singletons teamed tentative this night
Two willing slaves to oxytocin gland
I felt a panic first then pondered flight
I couldnt really catch a wedding band
I pulled out pins and comb inanely grand
I shook out lustrous lovely long hair loose
He primped it up he flicked in place a strand
He pulled at knot till free of silk tie noose
The kisses clumsy mine a nervous sigh
I knew he was the one I wondered why
Chorus sigh gasp moan
