Ah Sappho pardon my improper rant
I languish latest lady drawn to him
The chance of wedded bliss Ive sussed as scant
I fit in his type beautiful and slim
Yourself youre beautiful and elegant
I wonder why your aqua eyes turn dim
At mention made if hes irrelevant
I know your love of women more than whim
The gorgeous goddess Aphrodite made
A gift of flaw erasing facial cream
To old and ugly Phaon of poor esteem
And he turned striking cheers to shrink and fade
Yes Phaon as pretty boy exudes true charm
The inner man a mess to her on arm
