Revised sonnet #90
Jaycee the celebrant ticked us two wed
I new divorcee and he young single still
I pulled approval from the kids ahead
As he afforded charm and fit the bill
I was a country girl of common stock
And he a city boy of settler clan
At work I raked in hay and herded flock
And he applied a crust to pizza pan
I was unwise to put two eggs on ice
Thats given since to life a scruffy feel
I need a surrogate and nerves of steel
I harbour funny fear of pubic lice
Ive grabbed a marriage made of minds
At last Ive learnt a crisis seldom binds
Chorud minds esprits sinn
