a study toward sonnet #1,193 by FisherKingKQJ
It hits me hard to think that you love me,
You didn't keep the passion packed away,
You didn't fume, we were fine, above a fray,
We bantered our sad past loves as may be.
One pub crawl we went way too far and free
And tension was down, biding else at bay,
We bonked then bantered, usual lots to say,
I signed off, that was soft end of that spree.
You told me that you had slowly drifted
In love with me, doing so, fawned with a frown,
Mentioned going a first date, my mood lifted,
I drolly whispered loud to turn it down.
Now, you won't go near me or stop to speak,
Your icy eyes look past me, others seek.
(Chorus)
o $10,000,000 speak
o $10,000,000 chat
o $10,000,000 talk
