Revised sonnet #345
True beauty biased to nervous little laugh
Yet strong enough to humour me if sick
Of life you bolster me as better half
Theres none else whom I peep I rather pick
The curious city chick and country hick
In bed our huddled bodies heat a jot
On saucer flickers scented candle wick
Abandoned building secret student squat
You make a fuss of moisturizer pot
I note a wrinkle never ruins your face
At work I want I hint you blink a lot
You sigh us penniless you lean on grace
The roles are swappable and once youre weak
I lift your spirit high time less than bleak
Chorus weak debilitated feeble
