They were a lovely pair their lives austere
Their personal things precious fine and few
Their doors unlocked old fashioned very rare
Their bank accounts though whispered well to do
On penny pinch eyes linger now anew
The museum like old mirrored cabinets
The china crockery unused on view
Up high on racks off reach of kids and pets
The lack of loans then led to lack of debts
Their parents lives Id swear as simpler still
The lack of running water look in lets
Their cottage built in cleft of granite hill
The myriad challenges they met in style
The world a whirl of worry whole of while
