Revised sonnet #156
The happy ever after stuff I heed
You look a little sad in photograph
I note myself upset unmet in need
The perfect couples cuddle stroke and laugh
Theyre quasi fiction figures kind of naff
Theyre far too kind and public come to deed
Theyd fumble first theyd fondle next as wed
Theyd mirror moments down to gaffe on gaffe
I wonder whether well accept as rut
The dawn and dusk a stretch on metal clock
I guess at criticism in scuttlebutt
Unfiltered realism much too much a shock
Our clumsy smooches speak of start of art
Exonerate the fine affair of heart
Chorus art skill technique
