I share the little lodging short of slum
In Plaisance quarter patch of demimonde
I look the daughter when in law the chum
As models we indulge a brilliant bond
A senior brings her sausage cheese and rum
He keeps her company hes rather fond
He mumbles Basque at which we wink just mum
Hes from the Pyrenees or pastures beyond
I want to work the crowd at Concert Mayol
As dancer she shows steps to me that style
Her occupation once though not a while
I let her mentor me in rigmarole
