Revised sonnet #1411
Toy ship seemed small and dry in bottle dock
The liquid long ago those sailors sunk
Aboard a lissom lass and lovelorn lunk
The cargo gold and spices chock a block
Toy ship I dreamed aground in classic clock
Hour glass of coupled bulbs a duct of drunk
It stoppered sand at last it acted lock
Toy ship if small this case too large on clunk
The sand thus funneled down on sister ship
In second bulb and buried bow of wood
Hour glass I gave at last a sudden flip
I beached the doppelganger good and good
In estuary I sidestepped slurping scud
You beached the galiot low tide shallow mud
Chorus scud scud scud
