Albin (cont.)
Said twice and so want nought imagined else
I found you washed ashore one sunny day
As I combed beach the steeper reach of strand
And circled anxiously till my calves ached
Tired I sat down on your chest to make a plan
At which a jellyfish popped from your mouth
And groans foamed out around your lips and teeth
I bound in shards of coral naked bones
With tattered old hemp fishing net pulled tight
Hector
That makeshift chalk shin cast for castaway
Dissolved and wed with my bare flesh and bone
As coral creatures phytoplankton loosed
Inside my tissues green luminescence
