a study toward sonnet #1,363 by FisherKingKQJ
The lovely Magus shares my lucked out lot,
Our green skins read algae steeped disaster,
Our neck gills read hit on mistress, master,
We photosynthesize each filtered jot.
Unconscious, coral stung, in mangrove knot,
Skin as pasty green as mouldy plaster,
Gut trapped algae worked him well much faster,
And symbiosis turned his elixir shot.
By moonlight we'll embrace, by steady stars
Untwinkling free of jostling city smog
We'll tread salt water, chins on waves, agog-
As plankton bioluminesce dark sand bars.
Bad luck freed me, left me almost alive,
It grew the Magus green skin that he thrive.

o $10,000,000 extant
o $10,000,000 functioning
