a study toward sonnet #779 by FisherKingKQJ
Our lives could be shaped by interpreters,
You should be more careful when you curse,
As you strike through negative integers,
Compound indifferent with far, far worse.
Your words as leaden polished as a hearse,
Escapement bounces in your shrill and terse,
When irony might lurk between your lines,
With constructive critique as obvious signs.
I wish that you would drop you fervid whines,
To acquaintance ears your curses are cusses,
I don't care what that stranger near opines,
Any buffoon an intense rift quickly susses.
Mock slanders leave us open wide for rout,
So try cuss times cuss, it zaps us back out.
(Chorus)
o $10,000 rout
o $10,000 conquest
o $10,000 subjugation
