sonnet #1,667

You must've loved someone who was plain bad
News once, and cried, and gone and grabbed some more,
The pain appeals, as when he can adore
You mostly - slightly meanly make you sad.
You've watched a hundred sunsets, fun times had
The ninety nine times - yet one he calls a bore,
It's stuck so scathingly, to make you sore-
He's tender otherwise, a scumbag tad.
You'll draw him up and dote, you'll praise him well-
He'll slap you down to brink of welt or bruise-
He's no fresh dust speck dredged from oyster shell-
His love is right and raw and rare, no ruse.
The grain he gives you next is good as gold,
Shapes worth as much as massive else on hold.

(Chorus)

o gold
o platinum
o silver

sonnet #1,666

My love self frozen whole, it plain appears,
And packed in memories for monument,
Through earth's small black hole bagged in water went,
Expanding wedge like, forcing one side fears.
Glass fibres have been fused yard thick on gears
And racks, tectonic plates are thereby rent,
And lava moulded loops from ocean vent
Are stretched in place to dampen seismic shears.
The world has since emerged remade a ball,
Inside out land crust panels, fogs and seas
Of water spout from its cool, concentric squall,
Its black hole, where swell, fabled timelords freeze.
Iced down to that black hole as hard gene dust,
Amnesiac, I've addressed my darling's trust.

(Chorus)

o dust
o grit
o powder
sonnet #1,665

At times I thresh out life defining themes,
I note in nicotine and change in weight
There's little worth, they're terminally late
Among cross outs and blots in reams and reams.
I'll envy equals, loiter long daydreams
Begrudging one bloke's gorgeous nose or pate,
Another's social skills, which animate,
Another's style, airs, grace and money streams.
Till I touched upon your face the future
The feature perfect, near bland, unique yet,
Seamless if in areas styled by suture,
My eyesight was nought but a blinkered bet.
My heart rests with you my pretty pretty
Throughout zooming zones of nittygritty.

(Chorus)

o pretty
o handsome
o gorgeous

sonnet #1,664

You're not elusive when in lucid dreams
I make you come and go as you aim please,
Augmented reality will frame and freeze
Your means, impose back on you stuff which seems.
The yogis yanked me this way their sha themes,
I know you well enough, ignore your tease;
I validate ultraviolet light beams,
They strobe from your eyes, snuff me out disease.
I've shouldered early hours and double shifts,
I've nodded off when sent on coffee breaks,
You're superimposed there for both our sakes,
Your arms hug me, once more, and my heart lifts.
Now cradled peace, I crash out, pass away,
Accepting pastures wherein we shall play.

(Chorus)

o away
o distanced
o gone
sonnet #1,663

Gave him a hundred notes so he'd get lost,
Which came off well, he being the gigolo,
Embryonic, cornered, fathomed, good to go,
And she the babe seen precious yet small cost.
Her fair, young features froze as cold as frost,
I wasn't her type when attracting woe,
Her fingers withdrew from mine warm blood flow,
I spawned white knight that she could kneel engrossed.
Statue-like she stood and talked contrary,
She needed now on, her own nodding knave,
I spawned against odds small time slick wage slave,
Wondered if I'd ever please her wary.
Conjured enthroned, she thawed, she primped to please,
I lay my gargoyle head on her stiff knees.

(Chorus)

o please
o delight
o gratify

sonnet #1,662

The warm spring shower rain drips through helmet slits,
As we cheer down the old stink filled subway,
Below railway tracks, over motorway,
Pull up at heaps of broken bottle bits.
From mouldy walls to mesh fence long grass knits
Addressed by scrawled tags, cryptic ego spray,
There we lift our bikes over, cross okay,
I field her friendly girlish giggle fits.
Afar, drab pedestrians club as they will,
Rain glistens glow in her cheeks glamorous;
Bikes kicked stands, kisses quick, it's such a thrill,
Her sportsbra outline stiffens amorous.
We mount our steel and aluminium steeds,
Jink bollards; tread scored ramp to lower gears cedes.

(Chorus)

o steeds
o ponies
o horses
sonnet #1,661

He's got brawn, the brains are mine, yours beauty,
So we can pull off a cashed out caper,
Mammon take the tax, excise, and duty,
We'll kiss mountainously minted paper.
All you'll need do is talk fairly fruity,
Such home dwellers down to owners taper,
Easing them a mortgage moral duty,
Kids' well being, the social conscience scraper.
Rag the mad bull market, rort the rocket,
Grit your wisdom teeth, and gnash your molars,
Ponzi points in your waist coat fob pocket,
Short those syphilitic scab bipolars.
My brains terminate on timely pension,
Kids, you make the mess through rank dissension.

(Chorus)

o pension
o benefit
o annuity

sonnet #1,660

So you say you love me only dearly,
That she's a nervous, needy good old friend,
That her soft words to her own loyal man wend,
I believe you, dear, entirely nearly.
That first time I spied you courted clearly,
We fought, you put your foot in it by end,
Saying, long term, boy and girl platonic tend,
Saying, like minded mates as one live merely.
I get her nuisance nuance - she'd go out grab
Someone else's true love; she's man crazy,
She'd keep a wish list, I'd bet, tick a tab,
Handsome hunk on you, with her bloke hazy.
Embraced, embarrassed by her, all a bluff,
I blush imagining you two snug buff.

(Chorus)

o bluff
o manner
o pose
sonnet #1,659

Dress me down voodoo vixen, kick up a stink,
Keep small change on that old liquor loan,
Your sympathetic magic works a wink,
Or finger snap, then you your spells intone.
My crowd exclude us, lately they disown,
Yet I'm much happier than you'd ever think,
And frenemies affirm the legba link-
With laughs behind their hands, else they groan.
A zombie I might just be, who's to judge?
Stamped, my right foot by her boot was broken,
The achilles tendon snapped, as token
She signed the plaster cast with lipstick smudge.
My voodoo vixen's hickeys are like hives,
She deals me dead legs, too, my heart revives.

(Chorus)

o hives
o lumps
o welts

sonnet #1,658

Mosaics lined this medressa called Sher Dor,
In pixels slinked the legendary pride,
They looked more like wild tigers, closely eyed,
By tigons, ligers, time lords place much store.
Royal hand maid or kidnapped young Silk Road whore?
In caravanserai plied side by side?
Tired merchants mating, nightly open wide?
The fresco fragments secrets which I live for.
A flake of fresco filled my genie jar
With painter chromosomes, the odd stem cell,
Out welled my guide and fellow ne'er do well
And sped me forth to my love's neat bone scar.
My love and I and ibises, wade flats,
The yin and yang sinkhole twirl inks our hats.

(Chorus)

o flats
o deltas
o plains
sonnet #1,657

Should blowflies breeze past bad ass Beelzebub
I like to spritz them swift a scented whiff
Of daisy essence poison, not as if
I couldn't flourish without their odd flub.
The camel lumps in larders, nub and nub,
And swings a route with grit, he serves as skiff
Of desert dunes, a carbon foot print whiff,
He never poops or pees more than a tub.
I won't miss predator groomed parasites,
I could live without crowding fish and fowl,
Or tigers who are poached the while they prowl
Disease infiltrated by mindless mites.
Heavens, where I'd hail your sensual frisson,
There I'd feed on sunlight streamed by fission.

(Chorus)

o frisson
o buzz
o charge

sonnet #1,656

Too late to burble sorry, beg reprieve,
I should've said it straight off yesterday,
Perhaps it will just blow past come what may,
Perhaps she'll grant me grace soon, by your leave.
Yes, call it passing fumble, else a peeve
In progress, peg it dreamy dropped relay,
Against my future fine acts a-okay,
I'll wait in silence and let my heart grieve.
Tell, when do misdemeanours sum as sin?
And when do sins in their turn snowball crime?
Too late to estimate who'll lose, who'll win
Against a quirk of character this time.
I've learnt and lumbered so much on minor aches,
It may or may not go to big heatbreaks.

(Chorus)

o aches
o pains
o vexations
sonnet #1,655

Catch that upbeat chick starting her singsong,
Another whistles worries shoo away,
Another honies her call centre sway,
Another sighs you sainthood all along.
Catch that close friend babe nodding right or wrong,
Another bides your look, winks she'll obey,
Another primps hair through a pure sun ray,
Another hugs safe harbour, no dingdong.
Yet soon enough your nice looks shall fade,
As gravity asserts you sluggish sag,
You'll lose the sweet fairweather mates you've made,
You won't read such a brilliant boy to bag.
Such you'll regret at your and my steep cost-
I'll carry you sick, bruised or trouble tossed.

(Chorus)

o cost
o expense
o price

sonnet #1,654

White stephanaoitis sprays framed my white veil,
I clutched and seethed at my white satin muff;
I browsed the best man pulling his sharp cuff,
The organ rang a stave as if a scale.
He could on second thought embarrassed bail,
The midnight call from me deemed curious stuff;
Through gritted teeth he'd groaned he'd seen enough,
We'd meet at the altar, whole and hale.
I'd pressed my petticoat flush over hoops,
My white satin gown ribbed stiff that blunder;
Emotive mother, sis and I loopy loops,
Photographer catching stuff asunder.
One another till one day we perish,
Charmed, we vowed to honour love and cherish.

(Chorus)

o cherish
o sustain
o treasure

sonnet #1,653

We've hit a steep or snaky learning curve,
Elusive skills of compromise prove key;
If I go preempt adrenalin, and fight or flee,
Then he might just conjure a telling swerve.
On my own life he posted me to perv
Distorted tentatively trite and twee;
He'd joking squeezed me soft that others see,
My vacuous views he volumnised with verve.
Where our respectful per se purity?
Why do I mill around his morbid mood?
Why does he clamour insecurity?
Why does he calm me then go clanging crude?
I stare him down, him kick under any table,
When in life and love I'm more than able.

(Chorus)

o table
o bench
o desk

sonnet #1,652

My sweet this instance let through commonsense,
On innner life an outer life placed curb;
My love trussed introspection reference,
Distinguished herself from things which disturb.
Her errant thoughts in smirky smiles confluence,
Her brain awash a propaganda blurb,
RNA built, off DNA stuff dense,
And gerunds integrating noun and verb.
You pay lip service when you sense a bust,
And disallow things smoothed, which disappoint;
Incongruities and clockwork out of joint,
You're absent minded, present bodied thrust.
You see me unnerved, with your eyes twinkling,
Your skin tightens round their fine nose wrinkling.

(Chorus)

o twinkling
o coruscating
o shimmering

sonnet #1,651

In tranquil times I'll sip a cup of tea,
And call to mind the memories of chance,
And meditating, ancient acts enhance,
As breathing is a deed unforced and free.
As memories are muddled, no key
Unlocks their order, secret circumstance;
With underpinning passion tears advance
A gallery of rascals random apogee.
If fragile friends who couldn't ever win,
Are there too, thin skinned, they're inanimate;
Old bullies, frenemies and bad ass kin,
Among deceased forgotten glide and wait.
I don't recall my calling you at all,
If you were first to love, I was to fall?

(Chorus)

o all
o entire
o whole

sonnet #1,650

She traipsed a few steps walking on her palms,
Red ankles on her butt, her black gymn pants;
The passing partygoers were quiet with qualms,
As pigtails slid through new mown grass, mere glance.
I lingered lost in her too obvious charms,
And crushed a can, I took a cross armed stance;
Two chicks mugged then, murmured mock up in arms,
I seethed those skinny arms, that show off prance.
How was this girl I longed for, longed to meet,
Of whom I dreamed, on dares or acting cheap,
Cool intellectual beauty? Bar a peep -
How was I first deceived by some such sweet?
I drove you home long way round, at leisure,
Walked the fine line tipsy, took your measure.

(Chorus)

o leisure
o discretion
o recognisance

sonnet #1,649

Godog ex machina deigns me your serf,
In name and title just a triumphant knight,
To pleasant living you have peer born right,
My steed can only stroke at such firm turf.
I couldn't chasten you as you hold court,
I couldn't guide your quill with my gauntlet fist
Through your hornbook's most favoured folk short list,
Insert my name vowing bullying last resort.
We count ourselves untouched by dread black death,
We meander over mirroring still moat,
You under veil, I under crossed surcoat,
Up bailey stairs you billow filtered breath.
The garrison few can yet wage your whim,
My sombre servitude to you my hymn.

(Chorus)

o whim
o caprice
o gambit

sonnet #1,648

I thought I'd had enough of their oozed wiles,
And flagrant feminine ways, myriad moods,
The fundamental bickering and feuds,
How can I view attractive what reviles?
Sometimes I trade off from whatever riles,
Somehow my bright outlook downright deludes,
I join the primping, plumping gang of pseuds,
Defer prognosis, fossick superficial smiles.
Yes, there's always that one abiding bitch
Who courts my brain with her exclusive laugh,
Or timorous idiosyncratic twitch,
That cute chick who's too clever just one half.
It's bitter chocolate embellished sweet,
I'd back out bowing, now, as we broadly meet.

(Chorus)

o sweet
o mellow
o treacly
