Revised sonnet #1632
I sought words kept in clusters under roots
Of etymology down aeons past past
On halo heal hole helium my eyes cast
On halo hollow disc and ring offshoots
Our sun shone seemingly a zillion miles
At rise of sun I stared at life and death
On red red clouds I huffed grey cloudy breath
Sha stuttered shine showered enigmatic smiles
That night we hit on deuced bouncing hail
White dice dumped down from lately twinkling stars
We saved ourselves with battered avatars
One step aloof we lived to tell the tale
World overcrowding its thickened crust
Fine engineered shine stream of stellar dust
Chorus crust layer shell
