Revised sonnet #545
Dear Pip the pass of clock time Id like to ease
Id like to sketch or scrawl your beauty down
Your soothing smile your less than damning frown
A moment snatch a millisecond seize
As well your bouncing bust your kinking knees
As well your arching arms your bristling crown
Id like to do you justice nudge renown
In proper pitch if standard gauge agrees
I might immortalise the locks Ive seen
The short decidedly deciduous coils
Of black that foil of white and grey thread spoils
Eye brows and lashes black yet evergreen
As barrier versus element or bruise
Your painted statue holds her hundred hues
Chorus bruise contusion ematoma
