Tank full but full tread flat tyre raises ire
At Demoguspoe desert cotton fields
The axle jacked up just on sun expire
A rusty bolt inside tyre iron yanked yet yields
The looming locomotive we admire
On ring of bell and flash of light a lowered arm shields
A motor stalled imagined worse than dire
Or past train tracks trap cops and baton wields
Bayou focus point of scary skinny dips
Or whiskey stills in camouflage and shade
An anaconda alligator flips
On gallivant of Noeno everglade
You love the hump of sacks as harvest hand
I love the earthy smells that link to land
