Revised sonnet #541
The resonance of bricks in lilting lyre
They fly as moulded dust and move in waves
In such environment you see zilch slaves
In Amphions counterweighted eerie choir
The boxes his earth batteries of mire
Accelerate the cure of current paves
And pipes pneumatic whistle whoosh to naves
The horns toot signals racking platforms higher
Then Amphions lyre impresses concrete chords
Unsung inflections shunting fast or slow
Unsung arpeggios shunting high or low
The lyre if plucked at distance lie affords
As glue and grit unite in viscous vats
A piper hastens cooling puffing flats
Chorus vats cisterns tanks
