Revised sonnet #1654
White stephanaoitis sprays framed my white veil
I clutched and crimped in my white satin muff
I saw the best man minimise his cuff
The organ sounded up and down the scale
He could on second guess embarrassed bail
The midnight call from me cringed curious stuff
Teeth gritted how hed harped hed seen enough
Wed make the altar blissed out nought need ail
Id pressed to hard hoops cloth of petticoat
White satin gown had shadow overlay
Then mother pulled at loops fixed puff and bloat
As photos shouldn't show fines clothes astray
We were wed with wise words quaking perish
We vowed wed conclude qualms kissing cherish
Chorus perish disappear expire
