Revised sonnet #1497
Just gather dear things made up long ago
Id languish ignorant Id venerate
The sonnet form and guess at creative flow
I didnt supplement or emulate
A classic muse of course I kind of know
A perfect cipher slumped in superstate
The lyric poems her one and none then owe
True rhymes and blanks arise I contemplate
I claim the coincidences still astound
As slightly stiff imperial measures reign
In roll of poker dice immortal vein
A language past and future proofed Ive found
I map the world in similes in mind
To munted numbers numb I am or blind
Chorus mind intellect wits
